In this era of globalization, the role of customary law and Islamic law in the development of just law is increasingly attracting the attention of the world. Although modern legal systems have developed in various countries, but the values and norms passed down from generation to generation in indigenous peoples and religious values contained in Islam still play an important role in people’s lives. Therefore, it is important for academics, legal practitioners, and stakeholders to dig deeper into the contribution of customary law and Islamic law in an effort to achieve a more equitable and inclusive legal system.
This conference aims to provide a platform for insightful discussions and presentations on the intersection of Customary Law and Islamic Law, exploring their roles in shaping a fair and equitable legal system. We welcome submissions related to, but not limited to, the following topics:
